Location: Fridley, MN & surrounding area
Hours of Position: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Description:
We are looking for a Director of Services (DOS) to oversee 6-10 residential group homes in the northern metropolitan area. The DOS functions as a leader, educator, advocate, and a link between program and administration to provide quality residential services and resident care. The DOS is responsible for ensuring and implementing quality improvement, policy enforcement, efficiency, meeting licensing expectations, adherence to budgets, overall staff performance, and maintaining continuity and relationships with service providers and team members. They direct, plan, and coordinate the work of Program Coordinators. The Director of Services is responsible for marketing, screening and placing client referrals in appropriate service settings. They set rates within agency guidelines and assure all admission paperwork is processed. Ongoing and upon discharge they analyze quality of services provided and make recommended changes as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining current understanding of 245D and ensure compliance throughout all programs
- Hire, train and supervise Program Coordinators at each location.
- Act as the Vulnerable Adult internal investigator and monitor all incident and emergency reports
- Continually evaluate satisfaction of persons served by the program and their extended teams monitoring progress towards accomplishing outcomes identified in their CSSP
- Ensure staff competency and provide training as necessary
- Develop, document, and implement ongoing program improvement
Requirements:
- Qualifies as a Designated Manager under 245D
- 3+ years supervisory experience working with persons with disabilities
- Prefer a Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Human Services, or related degree
- Ability to pass MVR check, maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance and a state background check clearance
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, financial reports, legal documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Must be able to effectively and professionally present information in both large and small groups and maintain a positive public image
- Effective organization, ability to manage time and meet deadlines is necessary
- Must be able to make independent decisions based upon standard policies and procedures, as well as use good judgment in day-to-day activities
- Reliability, dependability, and flexibility are necessary for success in this position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year
