Human Resources Generalist/Manager

Full Time

Location: Fridley, MN

Hours of Position: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Compensation: Depending on qualifications


The Human Resources Generalist/Manager is responsible for managing all HR tasks in the Metro division that consists of approximately 150 employees.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Recruitment
  • Compensation and benefits
  • Performance management
  • Employee relations
  • Employee leaves/FMLA
  • Employee separations
  • Referral and retention tracking
  • Paperwork processing for payroll
  • Employment verification
  • Background check compliance
  • Training record management
  • Policies and procedure updates
  • Assist with social media and website development
  • Worker’s compensation management
  • Compliance with OSHA reporting
  • Compliance with EEO-1 reporting
  • Understanding and managing employment law and regulatory changes


  • Minimum education level of Bachelor Degree (4-year) in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • Prefer 1-5+ years related experience, however new grads are welcome to apply!
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage and resolve complex and sensitive human resource issues, in a timely and efficient manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, high energy, excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state laws that affect HR policies and procedures, including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and other regulatory and compliance laws
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with QuickBooks desired
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus
